Three Sisters Springs: A 1-hour drive from Lady Lake in Crystal River, this spectacular spring pool is called “the winter home of the manatees,” and is absolutely perfect for relaxing and taking in the surrounding beauty. Part of Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Three Sisters Springs allows you to snorkel in the wintertime, so you can experience a truly one-of-a-kind interaction with the manatees!

Blue Springs State Park: One of Florida’s most popular recreation areas and a true blue wonder, Blue Springs State Park offers its visitors a breathtaking adventure. Located about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Lady Lake in Orange City, you’ll absolutely love the wide variety of activities available, from hiking and paddling to picnicking and tubing. Not to mention, the stunning layout of these grounds will take your breath away.

Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge: Spanning 140,000 acres, this expansive treasure is truly a sight you have to see to believe. Perfect to take children or grandchildren, this wildlife refuge about 2 hours from Lady Lake in Titusville has everything for a magical trip. Enjoy the absolute clearest water you’ve ever seen, with incredibly easy access to manatees, particularly with its own Manatee Observation Deck.
